Bristol’s Tokyo World festival was a great success this September, helped by Andrews Marquees.
For the second year running, the festival took place in Eastville Park, in Easton, for a much bigger event than the previous year. It took place on the 26th September 2015 for a day filled with sun, music, food and people, drawing a crowd of 15,000.
Tokyo World hosted 6 music stages, showcasing a range of musical genres, including House, Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Jungle, Grime and more. In line with expanding their event, two of the stages were new additions as Tokyo World wanted to add Techno and a live project of their own to the Bristol festival.
The live main stage resembled a volcano, with erupting fire and smoke towards the eclectic end of the evening. It saw the likes of Mike Skinner (The Streets) and Submotion Orchestra, with Roots Manuva headlining at the close of the night.
Other acts included Bristol’s infamous Alfresco Disco DJs, Paul Woolford, David Rodigan, Stanton Warriors and Foreign Beggars. All provided an amazing show with spectacular light displays and impressive sound systems.
Andrews Marquees provided an array of marquees at the festival to host the main entrance, bars and glitter stalls, offering festival-goers a chance to drink, eat and get glittered. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed watching Eastville Park transformed into a thriving festival.
