One area that you’ll want to decorate, especially if you’re having a sit down meal, is the tables. Here are some of our favourite table decorations ideas for wedding celebrations.
Classic ideas always work really well when it comes to decorating the tables in your wedding marquee. Fresh flowers that match the bridal bouquet look beautiful on a table and help you stick with your colour scheme. Have one large decoration in the centre of the table or create mini arrangements for each individual guest. Those after a quaint twist could place flower head garlands and floral buttonholes on the table for decorations that can later be worn by guests.
Rustic Wooden Sculptures
Rustic and vintage themed weddings are incredibly popular at the moment, with plenty of women opting to wed in glamourous yet understated 1930s inspired Jenny Packham dresses. If you’ve planned a rustic, low key celebration, keep your decorations in the same vein by placing wooden sculptures at the centre of your table. Add some fresh flowers, lace, or paper roses to the mix to soften the hard look of the wood.
Fairy lights make the perfect centrepieces for a wedding celebration that continues late into the night. Arrange them in beautiful jars and containers for a sweet look and beware for overly bright or garish colours. While candles do look beautiful, they can be impractical on a windy day or if the table is filled with decoration. Use an electronic candle on your centrepiece decoration to avoid accidental fire and having to replace tea lights throughout the celebration.
While we don’t provide table decorations for couples getting married, we can help out with your furniture and your marquee. If you’re planning a wedding in the south west and are looking for furniture hire in Bristol, get in touch with us and find out how we can help.
